Lack of Awareness In Education

Lack of awareness in education is a major problem that leads to the poor academic performance of students. This can occur when students are not educated about the importance of studying, the implications of their efforts for the future, or the resources available to them to succeed. Education is the basic need of a nation to grow up, and it is the right of every child. Everyone should be aware of the importance of child education because children are the assets of any nation. Education should be free and equal for all children. Education is a dominant tool that can change the cycle of poverty; that helps children to grow, develop and well-being and close the crevice in social inequality.

In general, if teachers teach children for one year more about hygiene and prevention from diseases, it can reduce the number of growing different diseases in the country. Moreover, an educated mother plays an influential role in bringing up his children than an uneducated mother. To understand the lack of awareness in education and its importance, we have to think about the girl’s education system first. Girls’ education is specifically impactful for the future generation. Although, there are still more than (57M) primary-school-age children who can’t go to school.

Lack of Awareness In Education

For the success of any country, the economy should be good. This can only happen with education if a country provides quality education to their children so the public of that country will be educated and help in growing up the nation.

Many of the reasons a group of individuals has not accessed quality education all over the globe. The reason is that many individuals worldwide have been denied access to quality education.

Lack of Schools

Economically some countries are not in a good position and can not provide proper buildings and teaching materials to educate their nation. School shortages can have a powerful impact on education rates. Without access to school, children cannot attend classes and learn and develop their knowledge and skills. Without schools, children cannot get an education, which can lead to lower literacy rates for the population as a whole. In addition, school shortages can also lead to higher dropout rates as students cannot access adequate educational opportunities.

Poverty

Poverty has a devastating impact on children’s education and is a huge reason for the lack of awareness in education. They are more likely to attend poor schools, have minor access to educational resources, and are more likely to drop out. Poverty often means that families cannot afford basic educational materials such as textbooks, pens, paper, and school uniforms. Poor children may need to do additional chores at home. Taking care of siblings or working to support a family takes time and energy away from focusing on school. They are more likely to have trouble keeping up with their peers and are less likely to receive the support they need to succeed. This is the main reason for child labor. Children work at an early age to earn some money to fulfill their basic needs and out of school.

Not understanding the value of Education

In some countries the past generations don’t know the importance of child education and don’t care about their future this is another main reason for the lack of awareness in education. Parents and children alike fail to understand the value of education for a variety of reasons. For parents, the lack of education itself can lead to a lack of understanding of the importance of education for their children. They may not realize the long-term benefits of investing in your child’s education, including Higher income potential and better employment opportunities. Children may not understand the importance of getting good grades in school or the impact of getting a good education on their future. Without proper guidance, the time and effort invested in education may not be worth it.

Standard of Education in Schools:

There are 6 levels of the standard school system in Pakistan Pre-school, Primary, Middle, High, SSC, HSSC, Undergraduate, and graduate. If we talk about the standard of education in schools (quality of education), there are two categories. One belongs to a settled family and can pay the cost to educate their children from private schools. Another category falls in unsettled or low-income families. They can not pay a hefty fee to educate their children and are bound to educate them in government schools (this is an example of education and poverty). Unfortunately! Our government education system is almost devastating. While on the other hand, private schools are not much praise-worthy either.

COVID and Education

Due to covid, education is too much-affected in Pakistan, schools were closed for around 1 year, and the government banned any physical activity. After that, they reopened all the institutions. However, another corona wave forced govt. to shut the schools again in November 2020.

The government announced the opening of all educational institutions in January 2021. However, that was for a short time because institutes were closed again in April due to the third corona wave.

Without any proper schedule, institutions took exams online. That was the worst period for our education system, which ruined our generation’s future. Not all nations were ready to provide education digitally due to fewer technology resources. But this is the alarm for all the countries who think that they can succeed in the race for success and groom their nations without technology. However, we should prepare for all situations and focus on the importance of child Education because Education is the only key to building a responsible nation. Now e-learning has made education for those who cannot visit schools but have mobile phones. There are many apps that assist people of every age group in learning online
